The modular synthesizer EP is finished and now available for purchase. This was a fun project to work on and taught me a great deal about the modular system. There are six tracks, all of which are produced from the modular. All the sounds, all the effects, and even the reverb and delay are produced by the modular system.
The plan originally was for a “West Coast” system, but it ended up as a hybrid system, using many different elements. There is a bit of physical modelling, phase modulation, frequency modulation, and good old subtractive synthesis. It’s a surprisingly versatile system, but as with any modular setup, you always want more.

Given the great community in Portland, I’m hoping to continue this release as a series that other artists will participate in. If that goes well, you might see Modular Sessions Vol.2 and so on with different artists being the focus of each. We shall see.
